Just out of curiosity.
I posted this in Price checks and never got an answer so I figured it's probably not worth much.

I have been holding on to a gold max Shield of the Lion
req 8 strength, inscribable. Does anyone think it would be worth anything then? or is it mainly for damage weapons?
i will not be offended if, again, no one answers. Like I said just curious.

It will be worth something.

Requirement has nothing to do with how much damage you do (so long as you meet it), so requirement isn't just a bonus on damage weapons.

so if q7 max golds still drop, what makes you think q8's arent dropping also?

Yes they still drop they are rare just not very rare like q7's.

Again, I ask for proof.

I'm only being so adamant about this as my entire circle of GWs friends/acquaintances (with which my friends list is overflowing) have had or seen one drop for many, many months. And a lot of these guys and gals are extremely hardcore farmers.

Proof would be a ss of the drop in the chat log, the item on the floor just dropped with cursor over showing it's gold and req7/8 and max and something else to prove its' current (a new skin item on show for example).
